You can actually now download it yourself from the BBC iPlayer, for the next few days, at the following link:

Even though it was very good, i think they may have crammed a few too bands in and missed out on a few details. Next week it's a Kraftwerk and Krautrock special, which will probably go a lot more in depth on fewer bands.

The best ones though have been the documentaries made about smaller music labels: Stiff, Rough Trade, and Factory, the latter being absolutely top-notch, made just before Tony Wilson passed away.

They did miss a lot, but for the amount of coverage they managed to stuff in, it was an excellent documentary - and I'm generally not that interested in such things. We watched it at a friend's house before going to see Nitzer Ebb, so maybe that was why I was so keen on it - I can see where there was a lot of room for expansion and other interviews, though, for sure. Still, highly recommend...
